Guided bike and canoe tour:

This is a very exciting tour in the middle of untouched nature.  During this trip you can enjoy the quiet and relaxing atmosphere that is offered by the Norwegian mountains and lakes.  The trip starts at the Quality Straand Hotel where everybody gets a suitable mountain bike. You cycle along a path in the forest until you reach the first lock.  Here you get the chance to participate a game (optional).  Along the road you will see a lot of different landscapes.  At the next lock, our canoes are waiting.  Along different isles, we paddle back to the start point.  Our gide has many years experience and will teach you the basics of canoeing.

Along the trip, we take the time to swim in the lake, to fish and to make a camp fire.  Nothing tastes better that the trout you have caught.

This trip is suitable for all ages..

Rappelling from the rocks:

This activity is for those in search for a real challenge.  With a rope, you glide down the mountain back to the ground.  You are in control about the speed while a guide is taking care of the security.  Rapelling is a psycical challenge situated in a fabulous nature.  Most people will be pushing themselvs to higher levels and be overwhelmed by the great feeling while reaching the ground back under their feet.  We guarantee all participants a wonderful and exciting experience.

This activity is guided by an experienced instructor whom is approved by the Norwegian climbing leage.

Guided hiking tour: Roholtsfjell

This special mountain walk is situated in a spectacular area with monumental and mini alpine summits.  The guides make sure that the speed is adapted to all participants, so that everybody reaches the summit at the same time.

This is an exciting offer for those interested in mountaineering.

The first part of the trip goes through easy forest land, before we begin with the relatively steep hillside of the Austre Roholtsfjell (1005 meter high).  On the summit, you can enjoy the different panorama´s.  In the South East you can even see as far as the coast!  The trip can be extended by choosing to climb the Roholts mountain from the East side (1018 meter).

To put some variation in the walk, we have the possibility to return by two different ways.   One is without path through easy terrain, the other is via an exciting and steep path. Both alternatives are about 10 - 11 km long and it takes about 6 hours to do the trip.

We recommend all participants to wear good shoes and to take food and water with them.
